One solid bar replaces two to three plastic bottles of liquid shampoo and is travel-friendly and economical too. It comes on a soap base (natural) or as a pH-skin-neutral syndet bar. Which one suits you depends on your hair and water hardness, and an acidic rinse helps during the switch. Dry it in a pouch or on a dish, then it lasts especially long.

Certified natural cosmetics with plant oils instead of mineral oil, absorbs without feeling greasy. Look for a NATRUE or COSMOS label and a short, legible ingredient list. For sensitive skin, low-fragrance variants are the better choice. Use sparingly, a pea-sized amount is usually enough.

Reliably protects against odour with baking soda, zinc or magnesium instead of aluminium salts, and lets the skin keep breathing and sweating. Available as a cream, stick or spray, often packed in glass or paper. For sensitive skin choose a baking-soda-free variant. Apply to clean, dry skin, ideally after showering.
