Grill brush
(stainless steel)
Brushes burnt-on residue off the warm grate, best right after grilling. Models without loose wire bristles or with a stainless steel coil are safer, because no bristles come loose and end up in the food. A sturdy handle for enough pressure, suitable for cast iron and stainless steel grates.

Good to know
The easiest time to clean the grill is while it is still warm: burnt-on residue comes off best then. Let the grate glow briefly after grilling, brush it down roughly, done. For stubborn crust, soak overnight. On stainless steel work in the direction of the grain, on cast iron use no dish soap and oil it lightly after cleaning.
